Brand Partnerships Lead

Squad Labs builds technology that empowers the brands we believe in. Our flagship product, ROO, is a digital wardrobe network that connects luxury fashion brands with their customers through resale, authentication, and ownership infrastructure.

You'll lead our brand acquisition strategy, building and managing relationships with luxury fashion brands to bring them onto the ROO network. This is a senior commercial role — we need someone who has operated at the highest level of luxury retail and understands how enterprise buying decisions are made at brands with £1B+ revenue.

What You'll Do

  • Identify, prospect, and close partnerships with luxury fashion brands
  • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for brand acquisition across the UK and Europe
  • Build and manage a pipeline of target brands, from initial outreach through to signed agreements
  • Represent Squad Labs at industry events, trade shows, and private meetings
  • Collaborate with product and engineering to translate brand needs into platform features
  • Report directly to the CEO and shape the commercial direction of the company

Requirements

  • 7+ years of senior business development or sales experience in luxury fashion, retail, or marketplace platforms
  • Proven track record of closing enterprise-level partnerships with major brands or retailers (£1B+ revenue)
  • Deep existing network within the luxury fashion industry (brands, retailers, or marketplaces)
  • Experience at a major luxury retailer, department store, or fashion marketplace (e.g., Matches, Net-a-Porter, Farfetch, Selfridges, or equivalent)
  • Strong commercial instincts and the ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes

Nice to Have

  • Experience with resale, circular fashion, or sustainability-focused retail initiatives
  • Understanding of authentication technology, blockchain, or digital product passports
  • Previous startup or scale-up experience alongside corporate background
  • Existing relationships with C-suite or VP-level contacts at target brands
